Why is it necessary to switch between Games and
DVD when installing the Control Panel?
Answer 1:
This is due
to a restriction in the current Sensaura support (Control Panel Version 1.0.3.16).
As soon as a new version becomes available it will be posted for download on
our website. The new version will not require this switch.
Question

What do the modes Games and DVD mean?
Answer 2:
The default Control Panel
installation activates the Sensaura Games mode. This setting does not support
AC3 over the digital output. This mode can be used for everything else.
The DVD mode activates the AC3 digital output feature.
Question

Why doesn't Dolby Digital
or DTS work with my software DVD player?
Answer 3:
AC3 passthrough is not normally
supported over USB. A special player version is required. The Aureon 5.1 USB
comes with a player version capable of AC3 passthrough. Other software manufacturers
may offer an update that supports DolbyDigital / DTS signal passthrough over
USB.

Which sampling rate does
the Aureon 5.1 USB optical In/Output use?
Answer 4:
The optical In/Output can
only be used with devices that support 48 khz.

soon be offering an ASIO driver for the Aureon 5.1 USB. More Info can be obtained

Yes. USB devices can be connected
and removed without the need to reboot the operating system.

How can I record over the front channels using Traktor
DJ while using the rear channels to hear what is playing?
Answer 8:
Atleast 4 speakers must be
activated in the Control Panel in order to steer the signals independently from
another.
