When I start an application which has sound output and I am already using my TerraCam USB, I get an error message: The GSM Audio-Codec is not supported.

When I start an application which has sound output and I am already using my TerraCam USB, I get an error message: The GSM Audio-Codec is not supported. 

Answer 1:

• The GSM 6.10 Audio-Codec is normally installed with Windows. You can reinstall the GSM 6.10 Audio-Codec manually this way:                                        

          1. Click on START

          2. Open the Windows control panel.

          3. Dubble click on SOFTWARE.

          4. Select WINDOWS SETUP.

          5. Dubble click on  MULTIMEDIA.

          6. Activate with a check the AUDIOCOMPRESSION ( you can do the same for the VIDEOCOMPRESSION).

Question 2:

When I install the software I get this error message: "An error occured during the move data process: -115, Component: DLL, File Group: DLL, File: c:\windows\twain_32.dll".

Answer 2:

• In this case you probably have a scanner connected to your PC. Please disconnect this one an install the software again.

Question 3:

The control lamp of the TerraCam USB turns off when the PC boots.

Answer 3:

• In this case, there is eventually a resource conflict between the USB-Controller and another hardware. Please make sure that the USB-Controller has its own IRQ.

Question 4:

What is the password for the "LiveMonitor" Software?

Answer 4:

• Even if you did not give any password in LiveMonitor, the software will ask you for one. Just leave the entry field empty and click on OK.

Question 5:

I have problems with NetMeeting.

Answer 5:

• In this case, please contact Microsoft directly. On the Microsoft website (http://www.microsoft.com) you will find all the information about this software. For XP users: Netmeeting is already installed as part of XP. To execute it, simply press START>COMMAND>and type CONF.

Why are there no NT drivers?

Answer 6:

• Windows NT generally offers no USB device support.

VideoLiveMail doesnt accept the serial number. Why not?

Answer 7:

• The serial number for VideoLiveMail is located on a small yellow sticker on the CD cover. If you do not find it located there please contact our support department per email or through the telephone hotline.

Question 8:

When I start WDM capture application listed in the program folder there is no image displayed. What can I do? 

Answer 8:

• The first time this application is started you need to activate the preview in the menu Options.

Question 9:

After a time the camera stops delivering the image it should. What is wrong?

Answer 9:

• Be sure the USB Host Controller has its own IRQ. Windows will not report IRQ sharing as a conflict, so be sure to check the resources manually.

Question 10:

I cannot adjust the focus correctly. What is wrong?

Answer 10:

• Be sure you havent already turned the adjustment objective too far - it can get stuck. Typically the focus can be found without turning the objective very far. Turning it until it can´t be turned any further can damage the ability to focus.

Question 11:

My operating system doesnt accept the drivers from the CD. What can I do?

Answer 11:

• Use the newest drivers from our website.
