Will the Cinergy 400 USB work while connected to a USB 1.1 port?

Answer 1:
No, a USB 2.0 is necessary to use the Cinergy 400 USB.

Question 2:
Does the Cinergy 400 USB also work under Windows 2000 or Windows XP SP1?

Answer 2:
No. Windows 2000 does not support the Cinergy 400 USB. With Windows XP SP1, the USB 2.0 Update from Microsoft (KB822603) must be installed. It can be directly downloaded from the Microsoft website.

Question 3:
When I start the software I get the following error message: "The Smart-tee filter could not be found".

Answer 3:
This error can happen under Windows XP MediaCenter Edition. We are currently working at a solution which will be included a software version supperior to 3.72. In the mean time, you will need to end the task "ehRecvr.exe" in the Task Manager. The software will then work flawlessly.
