My remote-control doesnt work. (PC)

Answer 1:
-please note that the supplied multi connector cable has to be connected because of its integrated IR-receiver.
-please make sure you have activated the 'Remote Control Editor' (in Background).
-start the 'Remote Control Editor' under 'Start' -> 'Programs' -> 'TerraTec' -> 'TerraTec Home Cinema' -> 'Remote Control Editor'.
-install the 'Remote Control Editor' Software from the supplied CD or download the latest version from our ftp-server.

Question 2:
Can I use the Cinergy remote-control with other devices like television, CD-Player, etc?

Answer 2:
-No, the Cinergy remote-control only works with the Remote Control Editor-Software.
-The software can be programmed, not the remote-control.

Question 3:
Can I control the Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity Software (TerraTec Home Cinema) with the remote control from another device?

Answer 3:
-Usually not, but if you have a programmable remote control, you should be able to add the functions.

Question 4:
Not all channels are found after the scan has been made.

Answer 4:
-The TV reception is probably to low. Please relocate the antenna. You can also run the Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity connected to a roof areal.

Question 5:
Can I connect an active antenna to the Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity?

Answer 5:
-Yes, but the antenna has to have its own power supply. The USB port doesnt supply enough energy to power up an active antenna.

Question 6:
When using the 'Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity' under Windows MCE a decoder error appears.

Answer 6:
-please install a mpeg2 decoder through the installation of a software dvd-player like 'Cyberlink PowerDVD'.

The error 'No Tuner found' appears under Windows MCE.

-start the 'Media Center-Setup' again to initialize the tuner hardware.

Where do i find more information about known problems with the TerraTec Home Cinema software.

Please read the faq.txt document which is supplied to the installed 'TerraTec Home Cinema' version.
