Not all or no channels are found after the scan has been made.

Answer 1:
Be certain you have connected the arial and that you are located in an area where Free View is available for the type of arial you are using. You can also change the scan parameters:

Filter: No Filter

Region: All

Intensity: Fine.

The scan takes more time but should find more channels

Question 2:
Even if I am close to the transmitter, no reception is possible.

Answer 2:

The tuner is specially designed for areas with a poor free-to-air signal. Strong signal might not be received. In this Case we recommend the use of a passive arial or to weaken the strength of the arial.

Can I connect an active antenna to the Cinergy T USB XE?

Answer 3:
Yes, but the antenna has to have its own power supply. The USB port doesnt supply enough energy to power up an active antenna.

Question 4:
When starting a manual record the picture freezes, there is no file captured or the file is corrupt.

Answer 4:
There is a bug in the supplied version of 'TerraTec Home Cinema' software which is solved in the latest version. Please download this version from our website.
